Lambda Rho Omega Chapter
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® (AKA), an international service organization, was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women.
President's Message
On behalf of the women of Lambda Rho Omega Chapter,
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in Gaffney, S.C., I am pleased to welcome you to explore our webpage. Since October 8, 1977, our chapter has delivered award winning service to enhance the social, economics, and educational well-being in our surrounding communities.
Some of our most recent endeavors are as follows:

Partnering with the William & Mary Foster Foundation to provide undergarments to those in need.

Awarding annual scholarships to Cherokee County students to help with furthering education.

Hosting a Breast Cancer Walk to honor those who have survived Breast Cancer as well remember those who have lost their lives to Breast Cancer.

Hosting a Juneteenth Celebration to educate local students.

Ringing the Salvation Army Bell to ensure that all children can receive Christmas gifts.
